The firm advises energy facilities developers and operators on regulatory and contractual matters. The clients are companies working in renewable electricity generation, whether offshore or onshore, and low carbon gas production – biogas, hydrogen, syngas.
The regulatory skills required for giving project development assistance are numerous: energy law including connection and access to the networks, State aids – feed-in tariff and contract for difference –, environment, town planning, public estate. In spite of having several common denominators, the various specificities of each energy generation technology require a fine understanding of the energy sector.
At last, Maître Marc Devedeix provides producers with contract drafting and negotiating advice. On the one hand, industrial contracts – including from the FIDIC suite – entered into with contractors and suppliers, and on the other hand energy sale and purchase contracts, whether corporate PPAs or utility PPAs.
